The penultimate milestone on a serpentine turn of Lujzijana road, on it's descent to Grobnik field. Unlike previous ones, this milestone iz more monumental, built as a three-sided obelisk. The inscriptions denote it is located on an altitude of 590 m.a.s.l, 119.5 km from Karlovac and 15 km from Rijeka. This year (2019) a small observation deck was built around the obelisk which completed it's purpose. The sight includes Grobnik field and "Grobnik Alps" in the background. Great for a short break from the trip.

I'm kind of tied to that end. Although I am Rovinj, I am often on the Plaque on which I board. Mostly we always pass this road ... The landscape is phenomenal, the only sad thing is that the few houses on Kamenjak (just above the monument) are empty. No livestock grazing, no agriculture, no livelihood. Even one café (après ski), right by the road, would be perfectly located to Platak. And I believe someone would stop, especially on the road after the snowboarding.
