A beautiful cathedral where you can see the grandeur of this time. The whole place is covered in fine details, carved into every wall. It dates from the 4th century. There is a fee to get into this part of the palace so ensure you get a ticket. There is not any information available to inform you.

Amazing Cathedral in the heart of Split!! Is an old Cathedral with Arch and Column build from Ancient Romans during Dioclazian emperor era!! 🇮🇹🇭🇷👍

Went out at 7:30 am to take a photo at the cathedral, spotted and old couples holding hand walking to the cathedral. Wonder they might have been doing these for a lifetime together.

Initially was built as the mausoleum of Diocletian, later acquired by Christians. You still can see Roman hunting scenes on the bottom of the dome.
