It is a magnificent cathedral of the "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary". It is a three-nave early Christian basilica. An angel with a trumpet sits on the bell tower of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. "The bell tower is visible and recognizable from many locations in the city of Krk and a symbol of the city of Krk."
