Uprising Monument nation Banija and Kordun

Gorgeous monument to the glorious anti-faschist history of the people of Croatia. It's a shame the government doesn't care about it.

It's not good, it's fantastic, majestic, grandiose and stunning. The monument keeps worthly presenting the atrocities people from this area suffered in the WWII till nowadays. Amazing monument, highest quality architecture and superb design of the renowned world - class sculptor Vojin Bakić. You can climb to the top because its opened but be careful still because it is an abandoned monument for more than 30 years. Hopefully they will renew it because the monument, the people and our history definitely deserves it. Let alone the Partisan struggle but this was the scene of the famous battle between the Croatian king Petar Snačić and Hungarian King Koloman and his army who claimed right on Croatian land.

Big block of concrete.

Interesting to see leftover of once proud monument that costet a fortune and it was artistic designed. Just sad that all over former Yugoslavia this kind of structures where demolished or abandoned and left to break apart.
