Camp Kanun

We just loved our stay here - Smile is an amazing host ! The camp immediately felt like home with its open kitchen and super friendly guests. Had a lovely spot right under the olive trees - can only recommend! Don’t forget to stock up on her cold pressed olive oil, it’s amazing

This was a beautiful campsite with very good toilet and cooking facilities, a nice view of the town and looming olive trees, which offer some protection from the sun. However, our experience there did not match up to expectations. The ambiance was ruined when my girlfriend was taking a shower and the pipe was broken, spraying some water out of the cubical. When the owner saw this she started shouting at my girlfriend to get out of the shower like it was her fault that it was broken and even stuck her head into the cubical! My girlfriend complied with her wishes and said she was almost finished. No more than 30 seconds later the owner returned and started shouting at her to get out of the cubical again. She then proceeded to give out about my girlfriend to me! in a very condescending manner and did not back down when I tried explaining that my girlfriend didn't realise the shower pipe was spraying out of the cubical. There was no apology made after this and it lead to a very awkward and uncomfortable environment where we felt under military watch for the rest of our stay! This discomfort was only inflated by the bill, which is a considerable amount more expensive than the nearby campsites, adding a checkout fee??? In addition to this, and at no fault of the owners, the night is heavily noise polluted from a nearby nightclub and neighbors throwing parties, which kept us awake until 4am on two of our three nights there. An unfortunate experience for an otherwise beautiful campsite.

We spent 10 days at Kanun Camp, we found it an awesome small camping. We liked a lot the shared open space where is possible to eat, cook and grill. Moreover, there is the nice possibility to use two refrigerators. Showers and bathrooms were very clean and with toilet paper. The atmosphere was friendly and calm. It was easy to talk to pleople. The owner was very welcoming and she made sure that everything was fine. We definitely reccomend Kanun Camp!

Smile is an amazing host. The camping is cozy and the olives trees make a great roof over your tent!
