Very nice and quiet railway station next to bus station and ferry boats and the catamaran lines. Unfortunately, not so many traffic and people which need a transport. The trains are very old and the track cannot endures train speeds greater than 100 km per hour.

Smallish train station but still adequate. There is an office area for tickets and waiting. There is a large electronic board that has all the trains coming and going from the station as well as the times. It is right next to the train station which makes it very busy.

Helpful and efficient but you can only pay in cash.

In response to negative posts, this train station is one of the most beautiful, amazing train stations in europe. obviously locals don't know how to appreciate these kinds of things, but this is what tourists come to Croatia for. Unlike on the opposite side of the sea in Ancona, Italy, where you have to walk for an hour to get to the train station, the train station in Split is right on the water with an international bus station and all the ferries, national and international. This is not a small thing, something not to overlook. How many places in the world have this convenience? This is not something invented today, but a relic of the past, something thought of in a world before, where everyone 'walked' everywhere. This is the most humane, smart set up, you can imagine, something that was conceived many, many decades ago with 'walking' in mind. Beautiful, relaxing, simple, and authentic! You arrive, walk out of the train station and there is the sea right in front of you. Amazing! Otherwise the infrastructure is solid and great. I love the station the way it is. Thank you for not tearing it down, and replacing it with a cold, ugly modern inhumane train station far away from the center! The more you rip down old things, the less tourists you'll get...
