We spent our vacation time from July 21, 2018 to July 28, 2018 in the apartment of the Raspović family. After the long journey from Germany to Croatia, we arrived and were greeted warmly. We were provided with fresh bread including cold cuts so that we could regain our strength after we arrived. After we had found our way around and our things were loaded from the car, the host mother showed us the entire facility and warmly introduced herself. From the first moment she gave us the feeling that she would like to have us with her and that hasn't changed during the entire stay. Let's start with the equipment of the apartment: The apartment is equipped with two bedrooms, a living room, a new kitchen including a dining area and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the utensils you need for cooking are available. The entire apartment is very modern and gives a really very clean feeling. On arrival the apartment was in perfect condition. It was very warm when we were traveling. The air conditioning in the apartment always cooled reliably and created a great atmosphere. The pool area has always been kept very clean and is equipped with beautiful lighting. The temperature in the water was always very pleasant, so that you could cool off really well. The pool comes with various gadgets (water mattresses, goals and balls, etc.) that guests can use. In addition, there is a table tennis table, table football, trampoline and music system, which guarantee fun at the pool. Regarding the location of the apartment: Galovac is a relatively small town with smaller shops, a gas station and very quiet streets. The large city of Zadar is about 5-10 minutes away by car and can be easily reached via a newly built road. There you will find great shopping, activities and tours, shopping, restaurants and sights. Various beaches can also be reached in a few minutes by car. Our absolute favorite was the beach in the town of Biograd na Moru. This was also a recommendation from the host mother. However, the host family surpasses everything! We have rarely been welcomed so warmly and welcomed. Zorica, our host mother, was always at our side with words and deeds. If you had questions about activities, the best beaches, money exchange offices, shopping, etc., Zorica had the right tip and the right contact! She helped us a lot after a car broke down, which we couldn't take for granted! We were invited to a barbecue, received fresh vegetables from our own cultivation and had nice evenings together. The host Ante was also very nice, sociable and enjoyed keeping us company at games by the pool. The crush could go on for pages. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with this host family. We will definitely come back and then definitely stay longer. We thank you again for everything and hope to see you again soon. In Galovac, a small, quiet village perfect for family vacations, we discovered on the ground floor a spacious, refurbished apartment with all mod cons (air conditioning, dishwasher, refrigerator, TVs, wifi). The outside is just as pleasant with a terrace with awning, private garden with barbecue and even outdoor shower. There is also a small play area with a trampoline and swing. The car may be parked next door. The welcome from the hostess (Zorica) was very warm. A small meal was offered to us immediately with smoked ham, cheese, bread and cold drinks. She does not consider vacationers at all as mere clients but rather as friends who would come to the house. You immediately feel at ease with her. With correct notions of English, it is understood very easily. She even speaks a little bit of French. Despite her hard work, she remains reachable and finds solutions quickly when needed. Her husband is also very concerned about the well-being of his guests. A small beer together to recover from the long trip, it's very pleasant! The children are also very nice and we shared good times with ours. This Croatian family really takes care of their guests without being oppressive. Zadar is a very beautiful city located 15 minutes away. It's very lively at night with lots of people, restaurants, souvenir shops and music. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away (Sukosan) with your choice of sand or pebbles. The coast between Sibenik and Zadar is splendid. Finally, the 2 national parks of PLITVICE (1:30) and KORNATI (Departure from Biograd 20 minutes) are absolutely worth seeing. The sea trip to Kornati can even be organized by Zorica. Thank you very much to the very pleasant Zorica and all her family for these wonderful holidays. I recommend this rental to all families with children.
