What would Zadar be without this protector. Can it be separated from St. Anastasia. However, a few data, although they are also insufficient in the attempt to describe: => SV. KRŠEVAN • belongs to the Benedictine monastery (abolished in 1807) • built in the Romanesque style and dedicated in 1175. • simple façade without decoration, except for the main portal with gable • the annual part of the façade is decorated much better with Romanesque elements with columns and arches • The bell tower began to be built at the end of the 15th century, continued in the 16th, but was never completed • on the north wall of the church leans a wall with a Romanesque bifore - these are the only remains of the monastery which in the 19th century. thoroughly rebuilt, and in World War II almost completely demolished • the interior of the church is simple: three-aisled, Corinthian capitals, frescoes have been preserved on the north wall (large composition of the birth of Christ, saints, the last judgment) • The main altar from 1701 is the fulfillment of the vows of the citizens of Zadar against the plague • white marble statues represent Zadar saints: Krševan, Šimun, Stošija, Zoila • In front of the church is a monument to the poet Petar Zoranić

The Roman Catholic church named after martyrs of St. Krševana, one of the saints of the city's patron saint. It was built in Romanesque style in the 12th century. The interior is divided into three ships ending with semi-circular apses that are beautifully seen on the outside of the church. On the left side of the front there is a bell tower whose construction began at the end of the 15th century but it was never fully completed.
