Still such a meaningless place without any, verifiable history .. Only myths about this building .... Why did I waste my time with it ?? I can also delete the photos. Only an ugly, old structure that arouses 0 interest in the people. But - There are always a few idiots who absolutely have to take photos of it, even if they do not know what that should be

It seems to me that this monastery and church are unjustifiably neglected in the "offer" of sacred buildings of Zadar. Church of St. The Franciscan was built in Gothic style (dedicated to 1280); in the Renaissance era he had many changes made by the greatest masters of the time (Juraj Dalmatinac, Nikola Firentinac ...); in the 18th century the original Gothic windows were baroque. Within the same church there are valuable altars, wooden corset seats decorated with Gothic carvings, frescoes ... Half of the 16th century south of the church was built a Renaissance cloister, and in the 19th century. in the place of the old bell tower was built today. An important event in Croatian history is linked to this church. Namely, on February 18, 1358, the famous Sacred Peace between the Venetian Republic and the Croatian-Hungarian King Ludovic I. Anzuvinac was concluded in the church sacristy. The ticket price for a church, monastery and treasury for an adult is 15 kn.

Beautiful convent where St. Francis passed. The price is only € 2 each and is well worth a visit as it is well maintained and little targeted by tourists

Entrance is paid - 15 Kun. The monastery is made for tourists as a museum. There is a map-guide in Russian. I especially liked the arched cloister, sacristy and a small museum with works of church art.
