Location to old town is obviously very good, just beside the north gate into the town. BEWARE however that one day parking costs around €150! And no that’s not a spelling mistake. If you have a rental car consider parking much further out and getting a bus or taxi if you have suitcases!

It's super for small cars

We were here on a monday low season. The problem is that the traffic around this parking lot is so bad that you lose a lot of time. We did not get a seat here and then drove into the big parking garage. From there, a beautiful staircase goes to the old town. So better go there directly. We paid 160kn for a few hours. The entrance fee for the upper city wall also costs 200kn. And all restaurants are expensive. So on an expensive day with a lot of traffic jam. The city is basically full but really beautiful.
