We visited Cres town, which is the biggest town on the Cres island and its administrative centre. The town was quite small. The center of the town is in the marina area where there are many restaurants and cafes. What I like from the town in the small streets within the old town center. I walked around the narrow and high small houses attaching to each other. Sometimes, in the end of the small streets, there were several cute houses. The town was like a mini of Venice, but more calm and less tourists. We had a dinner in the old town, next to the marina. It was not that expensive for the food that they provided. We spent between 12-15 euro for one seafood dish. It was not that cheap but with the quality and the location of the restaurant, the food price was affordable. If you bring the car, there is a public paid parking. You need to walk to the center of the town.

A lovely town in a lovely island. You can still feel the Venetian heritage in its buildings, narrow streets and little harbour. Life is very relaxed and everything is at walking distance. Many shops sell true local souvenirs, do not miss their olive oil. A unspoiled gem of the Adriatic

Beautiful city with a lot to offer.

Great island with beautiful beaches and friendly surroundings. One side of a city is populated while on the other is still intact nature. Some restaurants are overpriced, but most of them are affordable. There aren't many events during summer but everyone can have great time there.
