Beautiful island, kids friendly, short boat ride from Dubrovnik, nice restaurand, lots of shade in historical forest... must visit

A very beautiful island with some really great beaches. If you visit Dubrovnik and you have some extra time then it's a good idea having this boat trip which will only take 20 minutes to arrive to this island. From there you can take a walk around the nature and explore the island by yourself. There are a lot of places for swimming and even more for sun bath. Highly recommended if you are visiting Dubrovnik and you are going to stay more than one day.

Interesting island to visit with monastery, little fort on a hill overlooking Dubrovnik, nature reserve, walks, botanical garden, and coastal views. Places to eat too but pricey, access via boat, entrance fee of 120 kuna. Good outing for the day.

Excellent day out if your staying near Dubrovnik. Very short boat trip from the old port. It’s a beautiful nature reserve with lots of lovely woodland walks. Plenty of places to sun bathe and it’s perfect for a swim in the clear blue waters. Also lots of dinning choices, great place.

This is a beautiful island but I would not really do it again as it seemed to be more for people that are interested in seeing plants .. the beaches are absolutely worth it ! And it's a well kept island
