Today's parish church of St. Agneze was built in 1894 on the site of a former cemetery. Two identical bell towers were added to the semicircular apse in 1912. A silver-plated processional cross from the 15th century is kept among the church equipment. The Romanesque period is attributed to the older phase of the Church of the Mother of God of Health, on the east side of the square. Its present appearance is the result of remodeling during the 17th – 18th centuries. In the interior, frescoes and Glagolitic graffiti from the 15th century have been preserved. and parts of a polyptych stylistically close to the works of Paolo Campse de Boboti (16th century). Parish Church of St. Angeze is the only one in the dioceses of Poreč and Pula dedicated to this virgin and martyr from the 3rd century, and in Medulin, according to the Italian pronunciation, it is called Saint Nježa, although this area of ​​Istria has never been Italian-oriented. In addition to the central celebration in the parish, the summer "holiday" of St. Jacob in late July as a thank you for the harvest season. Masses are celebrated every Sunday at 10 am in the parish church, and throughout the week they are celebrated in the oldest building in Medulin - the church of Our Lady of Health on the Square.

A seaside resort with a beautiful beach. Many bars and restaurants surround the sea shore. Medulin has lost little of its former charm. The dominant church with the two towers was unfortunately closed

We could not go inside, but it seemed that the outside had been completely renovated. Very nice.
