Great place for making photos

Motovun is like something out of a movie. I really loved stopping here and overlooking this beautiful hilled town. At the base of the mountain are vineyards for as far as the eye can see and climbing up the mountain-side are old stone houses with orange/red terra-cotta roofs in various states of repair. Capping the whole of the mountain is an incredible campanile that towers over the Istrian valley, so gorgeously reminiscent of Tuscany. If you find yourself in Istria, I highly recommend at the least a drive to a look out point where you can appreciate the beauty that is the town of Motovun.
