Makarska ist a very nice little town. Well, actually you could probably call it a city. The majority of people are very nice and are happy to help. A nice bonus is that almost everyone speaks English, Croatian and of you're lucky even German. I really like spending my vacation days there and just enjoying the sun. The only downside would be that it's getting really crowded and it feels like there more people going there every year, which makes it kinda hard to find a nice spot on the beach.
