Arena Verudela Beach Apartments

Excellent location. Beautiful apartments. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommendable.

Very beautiful area. It`s one big complex full of hotels, apartments, restaurants, few beaches, shops. On outskirts of town. Take taxi or book transfer from airport - we did that online which came very cheap. Bus stop nearby to city centre. Supermarket on site is very expensive. Pizza place was nice. Bike rental. Tennis courts. Beautiful rocky beaches. Swimming pool was very nice but it`s sea water in it ( ! ) plus THEY CHARGE FOR SUNBEDS!!!! Water slide is sometimes open. Ice cream in pool bar melting and horrible. Rooms are bit outdated but nice view and lots of cooking equipment. Room was cleaned only once in a week and not very good at all! Reception very friendly and helpful. Kids playground is full of weeds and bushes and closed. There is other one with couple bouncy castles you have to pay for. Go on boat trip to Rovinij and see old Pula - it`s brilliant! Overall be prepared to pay extra for everything but area is beautiful.

Terrible experience. You have to pay extra fee for AC or you don't have it. No mention of it on the website. But the worse - their boiler doesn't have enough hot water to shower. Even for one person. Do you enjoy standing with the hair in the shampoo foam and icy cold water running from the shower? Then this is a perfect hotel for you. The room is smelly. Very smelly. No thin curtains in the living room. Only blind curtains. They don't let the fresh air to get into the room.

Fantastic hotel and apartments. Plenty to do indoor and outdoor pools, a number of pebble beaches and beautiful grounds. A magnificent aquarium is on the site and well worth a visit. Plenty of great restaurants and an assortment of shops including gift shop and supermarket. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Apart from being very unlucky with the weather we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return.

First impressions of the hotel were good on arrival, however that changed quickly due to the rude and abrupt staff in the supermarket who literally had no time or patience with anything, threw your change at you and huffed when asked for a plastic bag to carry my shopping in. Rooms are basic, not worth the money paid in my opinion, however we did get our AC for free for some reason. Bed is nothing more than a pull out sofa bed. The hotel is very busy, and by this i mean you have to queue from 8am (pool opens at 9am) if you want a bed around by the pool. If you do queue, be prepared for people to run past you like their lives depend on it just to put a couple towels down. Not only this but you have to pay for your sunbed and parasol (joke right!!!!), also there is a water slide which you'd think would be free for the kids...again you have to pay which is also a joke!! There is a positive note, the manager and staff of the onsite Yacht Club restaurant were very accommodating to me and my family when we encountered a very rude holiday maker within the restaurant. They made us feel very welcome and at ease and it was a pleasure to spend the night there. Overall i'd probably only stay here again if someone paid me to, i wouldn't spend my own money to come back to this hotel.
