Hotel Petka

Located directly opposite the ferry and luxury yacht marina in Gruz, Dubrovnik. 20m from the local church and it's bell tower. Quiet it is not, especially with motorbikes and cars being driven at speed on the main road in front. And Sunday morning church bells start at 6....... The hotel is clean, quite basic, and functional. A bit of a relic from the Tito era in design. Unfortunately our corridor smelled as if the sweatiest man in the world had joyfully spread his bacteria along the carpet. Rooms were simple, reasonably clean, balcony without chairs (useful) but a bit mouldy and needing refreshment. Food was included in our stay and both breakfast and dinner were canteen style help yourself, and alcohol is charged extra. Food quality was decent although drink service was very slow. We only passed one night here before moving on, but we could have tolerated it for a day or two more if we'd had to.

Very nice Hotel right across from the Port, expect to see large Cruise Ships and Mega Yachts. Breakfast the best..... people are not so friendly.

This place has an enormous breakfast buffet, however, the rooms are very outdated and in the room we stayed in the shower head was broken so my partner could only hold it or have it extremely low on his backside. Twice we were interrupted before 8:15am by staff coming into our room for cleaning, which was beyond understanding.
