Curious and original church. Privileged environment.

Crkva Sv. Karlo Boromejski is a church that was founded in 1710. It was built on the foundations of the church of St. Ivana. In 1943, as a result of the bombing of the Allies, it was seriously damaged. In 1958 the remains of the church, in addition to the protected tower, were removed. A part of the wall and the entire belfry have been preserved. Behind the church is a cemetery. On the church square there is a monument to Šimi Starčević, who lived in the years 1784-1859 and is known for writing two grammars of the Croatian language, which are considered to be the first written in full in the Croatian language.
