Nature is wonderful, but DO NOT attempt to come by car unless you have an off-road friendly car. Google Maps might be misleading telling you to park there.

Cajtige is an important crossroads point in Risnjak National Park. Gravel forest roads that meet here connect Gerovo to the north, Platak Ski Resort to the west and Gornje Jelenje via Vilje to the south. To the east, a short hiking trail goes from here to Schlosserov dom mountain hut below Veliki Risnjak summit.

This is a place where you can get by car and head towards Risnjak, a shorter route, about three kilometers.
