Brestovec Sanatorium

Spooky and cool place. Abandoned sanatorium, now place for paintball and explore mystery buildings and facilities. WWII tragedy location. Great forest in surrounding. Just above the place is middle station for cable car. Recommended any time of year.

The Brestovac Sanatorium is located on the beautiful mountain Medvednica, and a hike through the forest can be a nice way to get to the sanatorium but there is also a road which leads to it if you want to go by car or bike. The abandoned sanatorium has become a part of a paintball course and it's a lot of fun to play paintball in it (so watch out if you are going there just for sightseeing) and please be mindful of the players and don't interrupt their game.
