Villa Jatica - Zaostrog

Absolutely terrific place for someone who loves and values solitude, quietness, nature, and - importantly! - premium comfort at the same time. The view of sunset from the terrace is breathtaking. The villa is few kilometers away from the nearest (small) village, therefore at night the stars are bright and big. Wonderful place for hiking. Really, this is a magic place!

This is an unbelievable hidden gem on the Croatian coast. It is located on the nicest stretch of the coast - very much to the southernmost end, towards the city of Dubrovnik. However, this stretch of the coast is free of big crowds and larger towns, and it is an ideal location for all those who want to get away from the noise and any kind of stress and "recharge". It is located some 3-5 minutes drive from the main road that follows the coastline, and it requires driving up into the hill, where remnants of a very old, abandoned village can still be found. Among those historic remnants, there is now an architecturally delightful, modern development - a wonderful renovation of the old stone houses - which offers luxury (top-of-the-range interior design with modern bathrooms and kitchen), and most incredible views of the surrounding crags and the sea to the south. The place is very comfortable, yet sufficiently isolated from any nearby settlements or neighbours - the closest neighbours are some 50 yards away. A perfect place to have a very, very good rest. Car is a requirement, but that's about it. There are some amazing local restaurants and lovely beaches within 10 minutes of drive. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Villa Jatica for 10 days and it was amazing. The location is great, it's far enough into the mountains and still only a few minutes away from the beach. The house is really beautiful and you can see that it was designed by a professional. My favorite place there is the outdoor kitchen. It's a perfect place for family gatherings. We've spent alot of our time there relaxing and telling stories late into the night. Additionally, there are a lot of other activities you can enjoy - from exploring the nature and walking up the mountain, to swimming in the private pool. We are definitely coming back. I can't wait to see that perfect sunset once again!
