Hotel Plavi Plava Laguna

A perfectly acceptable and well run 3 star hotel. The food was perfectly acceptable ( trust me i am very picky!). The Lunch proposal was very weak and not a lot of care was taken in preparing the food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and there was so much to do ( snorkelling, kayaking, webit, cycling …) The water was very clear and there were some very beautiful parts to explore. The only negative and very dangerous aspect was the total lack of COVID precautions to which we are used to in Italy. All the other tourists not using masks and social distancing. They were living in cuckoo land. I actually asked the Hotel organisation whey temperatures were not taken before entering and why masks were not made obligatory. Apparently the Croatian guidelines did not foresee it - so they are at fault! I found totally absurd when other tourists looked at you as if you were an alien with a mask on and would day COVID.. NO COVID IN CROATIA…. sniggering. It just shows how one of this terrible illnesses allies is IGNORANCE. The tourist standards that lodged in this area were from medium to low and prevalently from eastern block nations. Only a minority respected hotel hygiene and manners ( feet on the sofas, walking around with bare feet, bluetooth speakers in the swimming pool area …) making the life for the hotel workers harder! more work cleaning - which they did as much as possible. I highly recommend the PLAVA LAGUNA hotel chain. I think we will be back but maybe in a different structure where there are more educated tourists. Ah I forgot! the sunsets and sunrises were spectacular.

Don't provide fridge, safe, very thin partition walls could hear next room telly. Parking need to pay extras but no guarantee you find parking space

clean room, bit oldies but fine, good service, good dinner menu / selfservice style but with many choices. Pretty nice bar/cocktail room at the first floor

The hotel was pretty nice and clean. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. The view is great and the hotel balconies give an amazing view. The banquet is large and it varies so you can easily find something that could satisfy your taste buds.

Great location, a wonderful view of the sunset, lovely staff, but it needs investment. Feels like something out of the 80's. No elevator. Food is, well... functional. Windows in the dining area were not washed. Also, checkout at 10 AM is really too early.
