Plitvice Hotel

The restaurant is alright. It's not the worst food, but honestly it's pretty plain. Service was good though, and the whole restaurant was pretty deserted. If you are just needed to get a quick bite, this would be good.

The best location in the national park. We can just walk to the entrance of the national park. Quit good. Do not have to worry about parking and can extend our entrance ticket by the hotel reception. Although the hotel is quiet old , well maintained anyway. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Assit us to arrange our multiple bookings into one and so we can stay in the same room in a row. Rooms are spacious with great view. There are no elevators in the hotel .

We only used the restaurant. Staff were pleasant and food was good, although portions were a little on the small side. My issue was their refusal to serve tap water. Either they are not aware of the current world war on single use plastics, or they don't care. It's a large restaurant and single use plastic bottles of water were everywhere. It's alarming when you think of how many guests and visitors they will see during the year, being right by entrance 2 of Plitvice. Shame on them.

Decent hotel for the price. The other one in the National Park is definitely a lot newer and nicer, but you pay for it.

Old feel but well maintained. Food is so so. Water expensive. Small shower space. Bed is just fine. Staff is nice. Our room had a nice view.
