Stonehouse Popožo

Amazing place and very cool host! House is beautiful and has everything you need on vacation and even more. Everything was clean and you can see that house is maintained and decorated with care and love. Location is the best - first beach is less than minute from the house, center is few minutes by walk, market 10 minutes by walk. Host Jure was very polite and helpful - he even gave us tips and tricks about Primošten and best places to visit. We weren't disappointed, so thanks for that! Amazing stay!

The stone house Popožo has been built in 19th century and has seen a lot of interventions since our family members have struggled for years with difficult times. It has been finally renovated in 2012, with respect to local heritage and the tradition of Dalmatian stone houses. The outer stairs lead to a terrace and the first floor entrance. The covered terrace, equipped with chairs and a table, is ideal for drinking morning coffee, a glass of wine late at night or just hanging out with your company throughout the day. The terrace overlooks the harbor and yachts, the local beach called Popožo and the beautiful, crystal clear sea. From the terrace you enter the house, which has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a big table and chairs, and a living room. This floor's interior impresses with simplicity, a combination of modern and traditional, where old stone walls and wooden beams on the ceiling give a special warmth to the house. The living room is equipped with a sofa which can serve as an extra bed for one person. In this part of the house there is also a modern bathroom with a shower. The second floor of the holiday house is intended for rest and sleep. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a double bed, and has direct access to the balcony, while in the other room there are two comfortable single beds for 2 persons. In this area, there is another common, modern bathroom with a shower. Last, but not least, the third floor: a spiral staircase leads to a gallery with a large double bed, bedside tables and a dresser. This floor is airy and full of light sneaking through several windows.

A beautiful, lovingly restored house in a perfect location. The equipment left nothing to be desired. It was fantastic to be able to watch from the terrace from the small marina. We will be back! Fam. Hesse from Münster
