Felt at home immediately upon arrival. The couple running the hostel gave us a warm welcome and provided us with lots of information. Not just that, but after mentioning that we were looking to rent transportation, Karlo went out of his way to call a friend of his who arranged an awesome red convertible VW Golf, delivered to us at the hostel. He ended up charging us only around half the daily rate the rental places were charging! Free coffee, cheap and well-done laundry service, good talks and, last but not least, one of the nicest and cuddliest dogs you'll ever encounter (a mini Golden retriever!). The whole stay was fantastic and made us feel very appreciated and not just another two backpackers in a random hostel. The island itself was amazing as well, with as the absolute highlight the sunset from the highest point of all the Adriatic islands (Vidova Gora). Cannot recommend enough, if you're ever on Brač, don't skip this place and meeting these great people :)

We had a great stay at Funky Donkey. This place has a reality hostel feel with a chilling areas, balcony, garden... The rooms all have air conditioning. And they have a super sweet doggo. Can't not ask for much more. The staff was really helpful and kind. We extended our stay twice. Thanks Funky Donkey!

Good hostel, friendly staff but unfortunately has a very obnoxious rude 'guest' who's a regular. Swore at me and my friends and very rude.
