Since the founding of the Parish of Blessed Alojzije Stepinac, it has been the strongest cohesive factor of the citizens in the Andrija Hebrang Settlement, and it seems to me primarily thanks to the charisma of its pastor, Rev. Tomislav Ćurić, as a place of both spiritual and personal encounter during Mass celebrations and other devotions and religious events, is a place that attracts believers from the neighboring parishes of Slavonski Brod.

The parish seat with the pastoral center and the temporary church of the Blessed Alojzije Stepinac in Slavonski Brod was blessed on July 7, 2018 by the retired Archbishop of Đakovo-Osijek, Msgr. Marin Srakić, who in August 2009 founded the Parish of the Blessed Alojzije Stepinac.
The cornerstone for the construction of the parish church and pastoral center was laid in October 2016.
