Co-Cathedral of St. Mark

Nice place, amazing atmosphere due to big mountains behind the cathedral.

Very nice church, sadly I was not able to go inside due to the lack of time, but the exterior is beautiful. I was quite amazed. Also Makarska is a great city with lots of sights. Definitely worth a look even if you have just one day here. In the square in front of the church there is a nice little fountain, that is astonishing as well.

Besutiful church with mountain

Picture postcard church in the heart of old-town Makarska, sitting atop a popular town square, or Trg, with the most dramatic backdrop one could imagine. The Biokovo mountain range dominates the skyline behind Makarska reaching over 1400 metres and it was impossible to stop admiring it during my stay. Many restaurants, cafés, souvenir stores and a fruit markets adjoin the square.
