Extremely high quality olive oils! We had a very special and very interesting oil tasting! So surprised how different each oil tasted! The host and the whole area were just great and really friendly. If you visit Istria and wanna taste the spirit of nature and get to know about how olive oil manufacturing works you HAVE TO visit chiavalon! Great place on earth, so calm and overwhelming how the trees spread their spirit on ourselves... .

Amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff. The olive oil is superb, one can smell and taste the difference from the very first bottle. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

We did the Grand tasting which was 300 HRK per person and was more than worth it! The tasting consisted of the history of the olive grove, the oil making process and it's difficulties then went on to a tasting of 4 oils, explaination of how to tell if it's a good oil and how to keep oil and ending in a food and wine pairing. Our guide was amazing (unfortunately didn't get her name) and after the tasting we sat around chatting with the other a guests and guide discussing things to do in the area, was a brilliant experience. Staff here are also very passionate and really care about their craft. Thank you!
