Villa Agata Rab

We had a lovely time at Villa Agata (apartment 1) this July! The apartment is really comfortable and big enough even for a family like ours (two grown-ups, four children), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Our favourite spot for hanging out was the terrace - the garden is absolutely beautiful and well-tended as well, though. ;-) As for Gonar and the location of the house on the hill, we loved the peace and quiet and the little coves you can reach by foot (about 10 minutes) which offer you what we consider the essence of a holiday by the sea. If you want a little more infrastructure (restaurants, diving base ...) you can go to Gonar beach in the same amount of time as well of course. Anna and Marin are very friendly and helpful hosts and will offer you advice any time you'll need it.

We loved and enjoyed the peace and marvellous silence in this residence. You can relax and enjoy the tranquillity in the sun beds in the lovely garden or you can walk 5minutes to the beach. Perfect Location. And for sure 5 stars for the Hosts, they were very lovely and friendly and they had good Insider-Informations :-) Top Top Top!! Everything was just perfect - a vacation as it should be :-) We would love to come again next year.

Very nice landlord, quiet location and a wonderful view of the sea from the terrace

We have stayed in different apartments on the island of Rab five times in a row. We liked this accommodation so much that we (family with two children) have already spent our Whitsun vacation here three times. The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, very quiet, with many small bays that can be reached quickly and several good restaurants in the vicinity, some of them with a sensational panoramic view. We found the apartment itself to be very clean. The kitchen had everything you need to cook yourself. There's also a grill. The dishwasher naturally makes the housewife's heart beat faster. The rooms are very tastefully and practically furnished. The bathroom is large and the children will probably remember the great modern rocket shower later. We didn't use the television because we had a laptop with us and could easily watch German television via streaming. The absolute highlight of the apartment is the gigantic view of the sea. We could watch spectacular sunsets together from the large terrace. We were very happy to have air conditioning. The landlords, a young couple, are personable and approachable at any time. Overall, the apartment is just an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful corners of this island. We will be back!

This year (2019) we were on Rab over Pentecost. So that our youngest (6 years) can play with sand on the beach and it goes flat into the water, we decided on Rab. In our search for a holiday apartment, we had an absolute stroke of luck with Villa Agata. We felt very comfortable with Anna and Marin Crnic, even like a family. They were exemplary hosts. Always available and always friendly and courteous. Apartment 2 on the 1st floor and the view from the terrace are just great! And WiFi, Internet and German-language TV worked well. We visited many beaches on the island itself, but we couldn't manage them all. In Lopar we found Ciganka, Sturic and Dubac in particular to be very beautiful. But to get there you have to be prepared to walk a bit. You cannot drive directly to the sea to the bay by car. But the walk is worth it! Sometimes there are also boats in the bay and, if necessary, there is also the possibility of being brought and picked up by a taxi boat. In Kampor we especially liked it in Kandarola after the nudist beach. In addition to the beautiful bay with a restaurant, there are other beautiful and undisturbed places here. And our day trip to the beach 'Pudarica' was also nice. Most of the days we were at the 'house beach' in Gonar and got an ice cream at the nearby restaurant. After showering and changing, we went to dinner in the evening. Here we can recommend all local restaurants. One of the highlights was definitely the Gonar. Antonius, who lies at the fork in the road between Lopar and Supetarska Draga, is a bit more casual. Here, too, we ate well and were courteously served. And the kitchen in the apartment also passed its test of suitability for everyday use. One evening, completely surprising, we were invited to dinner by Anna and Marin. In the garden there were mussels and grilled squid fresh from the fish market in Rab during a cozy get-together. (Thank you again for your hospitality!) In addition to German, we usually had a very good conversation in English. All in all, our expectations were more than met. Rab offers a lot. The holiday apartment Villa Agata is elevated and you have a fantastic view over the sea from the terrace. Several beautiful bathing areas can be reached on foot from the apartment. Because the house is high on the mountain, you have to take a few meters to the beach and of course back. No problem. What remains is a very nice memory and the longing.
