Worth the climb but don't follow Google maps instructions ,which don't show the easiest route follow the directions from near the marina if you're walking. Which is the best way to get there as you would miss the views of the town otherwise. Whilst not the prettiest monument you'll see with all of the celebrations that the UK are holding for WWI I this is an interesting piece of Croatian history. Nobody seemed to be using the amphitheatre but hopefully it is used for concerts at times as it's a great location with stunning views across the town and the bay.

The Seagull's Wing Monument at Podgora, Croatia, built in 1962, was intended to commemorate the creation of an anti-fascist naval force on the Dalmatian coast. This monument represent for the people of the Biokovo region the sacrifice and struggle displayed by their local sailors against the occupying forces of the Axis powers.

A little bit hard to find because there is no sign from the main road but Google maps directions are very good...you can get there with your car directly, the story behind monument is very meaningful :)
