The best city and the best mayor of Umag

Umag is one of the most visited resorts in Istria; in addition to the pleasant Adriatic coast, there is a rich history of the place. The tranquil atmosphere of the city, with its narrow streets and ancient buildings, breathes on tourists. Originally it was a Roman military settlement founded in the 7th century, gradually the local port city fell under the Republic of Venice, Austria, Italy and only since 1953 passed Umag under Yugoslavia. There is a fishing port and ACI yacht marina, the stomachs of tourists are cared for by numerous restaurants, cafes and confectioneries.
