Samobor Castle

If you are into history and old castles then go and visit. It is a rugged and interesting place for a visit. then walk to Samobor town and enjoy a Kremshnite!

If Jackie Chan successfully filmed there, you certainly can have a nice Sunday walk!

When you visit Samobor take a 30 minute walk from the main square to the Old Castle. It's a great way to burn calories after you ate all that Kremšnita cakes 😁

Quite a nice place to explore in an hour total. Despite it being a ruin it holds up pretty well with no apparent dangers. The hike is short but shaded with a fresh n' natural water source half of the way up. The nature in and around it, although very nice to look at, unfortunately blocks the view towards the town of Samobor with only one spot (near the entrance) managing to reveal about half of it. Other than that I'd recommend it, especially in later afternoons when it's warm/chilly.

It's an easy walk to the castle and the climb is not too steep so even if you're out of shape, getting there won't be too much of a stretch. The view is lovely and if you catch some sunshine, it will be worth it!
