St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church

Rudopolje Bruvanjsko has an independent Catholic parish of St. Peter and Paul. The name was chosen in relation to a medieval iron mine, when the former Saski miners were still used by the Kurjakovici for Croats. Until the Second World War, the parish of Rudopolje had more than 500 faithful. After the Second World War, the Communists hunted all Croats. Most of them escaped to Slavonia. Today, the parish church has been restored but the return of the exiled Croats is still not realized.
