In medical physics, the dosimetric suitability of various radionuclides for examining the function and morphology of organs has been studied in the past, and methods for measuring the intensity and absorbed doses of the neutron beam of the continuous energy spectrum for the application of neutron beams in radiotherapy have been investigated. Later, research in the field of medical physics focused on the application of ultrasound in medicine. The acoustic flow in liquids caused by ultrasound is studied and various methods of measuring the characteristics of ultrasound beams used in medical diagnostics and therapy are analyzed in order to ensure quality and safe application of ultrasound for medical purposes.
