Attention here is cheated!!! I was told that I have entered the PIN of my credit card 2 times wrong. Although I was sure I had entered the correct PIN, I was forced to pay her insurance for € 400 so I could get the car. Called my credit card companies and they could not find faulty PIN input in the logs. That means they cheated on me. Will try by all means to get my money back. At the same time, others were cheated and received the information that could not use their credit card. And all the other reviews show the same. They will hear from my lawyers.

Located far from the airport and stops. The ordered class car was not available. Usually rental companies offer a class above. Here offered only for an additional fee. It is better to choose a proven company.

I travel around the world monthly and rent cars often for work - 2 to 3 countries per month. This has to be the worst customer service I have experienced. I have been in disputes with the company now for over 5 weeks on a prepaid gas charge that I did not want and asked to be taken off before I even drove car off lot. The agent said he was not able to and to contact customer support (email) which I did. I returned the car full as I told them and charge is still there. 3 times I reached out to them to let them know to take off charge with no success. I also reached out to Auto Europe and they are investigating. I felt that the agents were cold and mechanical with no concerns to the renter. I felt scammed the whole transaction and he assured me it would be taken care of ( just words) I definitely would not recommend this company- customer service is the worst, and to top it off i actually grew up in Croatia.

With the new airport terminal in Split its very easy to pickup or return the car, just in walking distance for 5 minutes. Kinda new and clean car. Beside of that, the whole process left me with a weird feeling behind. Even you already put your details online, you have to fill a form again with all these details again. After that, they blocked my card with almost 1200€ and offered me to lower it if I buy a expensive insurance. After that they charged me with 25€ because I wanted to drive to an island and they wanted that I buy the refuel-service, which is nonsense, because you have to bring your car with an empty fueltank, which nobody does. All this stuff took around 25 minutes, which isbfar to long. The return was okay, even they checked the car very very very good, which was a bit overacting in my sense. Overall I had the feeling they don‘t do their business like just renting car. It was more like they are very suspicious and fearful about they cars and acted like you renting a raw egg and they wanna make money to repair the cars with your or the insurance money. Never had that feeling with my countless other rentings from other companies. The online-chat is a joke, even they are agents online, i never got an answer. It seems to be a new company with fresh and young design and fair prices, but they really had to get more friendly and customer friendly in general.

DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE. Why? The actual price of the rental was twice as high as it was reflected in the online reservation, and that's just the start of it. The extremely unhelpful staff forced us into paying for: the possibility to return the car with an empty fuel tank, insurance 21 EUR per day (if we were not to buy it, every smallest scratch would need to be paid for), damages waiver and the possibility to bring the car on a ferry - which was never verified on the ferry on otherwise. There was also a 2000 HKR deposit that was blocked in case of any parking tickets. The person renting the car to us seemed irritated with our questions and the need to explain anything. Luckily no problems with returning the car, but I witnessed another person trying to rent who was baffled by all the additional costs. Do not recommend.
