The feast of Our Lady of Carmel is solemnly celebrated on July 16 with the celebrations of mass in the church of Nostra Signora del Carmelo in Pasika and the central Eucharistic celebration in the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. The procession with the statue of Our Lady from the church of Our Lady of Carmel to the cathedral of S. Lovre, is accompanied by numerous faithful from Trogir and its surroundings, with the mayor of Anto Stipčić and his deputies Radovan Slado Šilović and Filipa Anđelić, led by priests and solemn bartenders. In his homily, the preacher stressed the importance of Our Lady of Carmel and the significance of her cult throughout history, inviting all believers to follow the Mother of God, Our Lady of Carmel, in her life. After the end of the celebration of the mass in the cathedral, the procession through the Trogir coast, accompanied by the choir of the cathedral and the folk music of Trogir, the statue of the Lady is returned to the church of Pasikama, with the sounds of the sirens of the ships, to which ships just as in antiquity paid homage to the Mother of God. There was a traditional popular merriment organized by the Association of Our Lady of Carmel, in which the faithful of the Madonna sang and danced with sardines and wine until late at night.
