Lonja field

It is simply nice and fascinating at the same time. Here you are travelling centuries back while you are exploring well preserved nature, its wetlands and traditional villages with old houses made of oak. Homemade food based on grand parents recepies with local sorts of wine are just another positive aspects and reasons why I am visiting this place again and again. Because of many rivers and streams alongside with all benefits from all four seasons, it is never the same here. Same places but always different. Every visitor here is steping away from the crazy world and reconnecting with the beauty of our inner world. Here you can live the connection between the man and the nature. Lonjsko polje should be included in every visit of Croatia.

Apart from beautiful nature, visitor's part of it is well organized, all staff very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Accomodation and service (including authentic, local food) is amazing.

Beautiful area. We came here to stretch our legs from the drive and found the place to be very relaxing. There were many horses, cows, chickens, and goats. Lots of wooden houses as well. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful!

A beautiful quiet relaxing place. We were able to ride right in and stop by an old war steam engine still with the carriages hooked up. We learnt a lot about the meaning of the stone rose here from a local. I will go back here and learn more history... definitely worth a visit....
