ACTIVE rent

Rented a Caravan on 6/12. The young man at the airport desk was very professional and took care of everything quickly. Upon arrival at the outside booth, another young man showed us the vehicle. I apologize that I gave him a hard time since the car was a bit smaller than expected. He was very patient and professional. We ended up being very satisfied with the quality of the vehicle! The young man in the booth deserves a raise!

Long time ago we rented car from different rent a car agency that totaly ruined our holiday (due faulty car that left us in middle of nowhere not once but two times. Plus unfriendly customer service). Now happy Active's customer for many years. Once again, we just finish wonderful holiday and returned car that served us without any problem. Active's team at Zagreb aiport was very helpful and friendly as always. Big thanks to them for nice holiday. Special thanks to Ivana who continue to book car for us. This car rental company might be super-good. But their booking site is SO damn bad that I'll never rent a car there. "Renting a car has never been easier, relaxed and more fun!" Yeah. About that: The rental sites are typed out in some sort of "code". Why "ZAGREB AP ZAFAPRP-1"? Where is that? Why couldn't you just write where the office is located, in clear text? And by the way: In the drop down menu; the first letters are not visible. So I'm only guessing what it says. The same problems occurs with all the drop-downs, like "time", "Car class", "Country", "Age". Next page: Choose your car! It's super ugly. Looks like an Excel-sheet with way too narrow columns. Car type: MDMR? EBMR? EDMR? CBMR? Should I have downloaded some sort of "Active User Manual" before using their booking site? And no pictures of the cars? So, I'll have to Google the car myself, in order to see if it's a small, medium or a large car? Or maybe it's common sense that an "LVAR" is a 'L'arge 'V'iolet car with 'A'ir-conditioning and 'R'everse gear? Great. Let's go and have a look at the Optional Items screen then. Insurances: Super CDW. Personal Accident. No information, whatsoever, what these mean! What's in a "Super CDW". It sure sounds Super. And CDW. But I have no clue what it is they want me to pay for. The same goes for Extras. No information what those extras are, though you can pretty much figure them out by their names, at least. But still, there are some questions: "Add driver 30". Does that mean a driver that is 30 years old? Maybe 30 drivers? Or does the driver have to be named "30"? Is it some sort of super secret "Driver rating at least 30" that we could have read about in the "Active User Manual" again? As I said earlier: Maybe ehis company is super good. I don't know... And I will never know. With such a bad booking site, I won't dare to book a car through them. It signals, to me, that they are not serious about their business, and that they are sloppy. Please update the booking page! Just hire some 13 year old home schooled coder kid. he/she should be able to make a far better booking site in a week or so.
