I have been shopping for years in stores in Zagreb and Split, in the Old Town for my bed & breakfast and big purchases have never been a problem nor would they start scanning until I pick up the goods or my service worker packs it. Now, even with repeated pleas for social distance because I have an autoimmune disease, I can’t buy without five people on my head, worse than before the pandemic. And how they behaved in the beginning while they were afraid for themselves! And that they owe me the cream I left so I wouldn't put it in my wife's nostrils. ; ) Rant over.
