Aminess Grand Azur Hotel

Our stay at the Aminess Hotel was very good. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We had a Junior Suite on the top (4th) floor with balcony and lake view and it was very worth it. The views of the beach and the sea are just beautiful. The room was clean and very spacious. The bathroom had a bathtub, which is not available in the family rooms. We had booked half board with breakfast and dinner. Both meals were varied and varied daily, so there was something for everyone. It always tasted very good. The price included beer, wine and soft drinks at dinner. The pool and outdoor area were also very clean. The best was the direct beach location, from the back of the hotel you can get directly to the crystal clear sea. Should we come back to Orebić, we will stay at the Aminess Hotel again.

A place with clean and cosy rooms, delicious food, nice staff, nice but quite cold swimming pool and close to the beach. It would be just a "okay" hotel if it wasn't for one person- Billy, the animator! He is the nicest, most helpful volcano of energy and enthusiasm in the entire Croatia! You could visit this hotel alone and would not feel lonely at all thanks to this guy. Really, all his heart, mind and body were all the time dedicated to guests and making them feel comfortable. He really did make everyone feel wanted there and in each activity! Questions about Croatia/ music/ life stories/ anything at all? Want to play basketball/volleyball/waterpolo/badminton/pingpong/or anything I guess? Have problems with staff or other guests or anything basically? Billy is the person who is actually interested in your fate and will help you with anything. I can't stop thinking that in reality he is a hotel owner just pretending to be an employee to understand the guests better! The problem is the coronavirus restrictions- I think that the hotel will have a huge problem when more guests arrive. The capacity of their restaurant or pool is not enough for so many people. During my visit there was less than a half of expected guests but it felt like perfect number of them. But I can't complain, they managed everything really well. Maybe they will find more solutions. My room was for 3 adult persons. Strongly do not recommend this option. The third bed is so terrible we changed a room, but it didn't help much. It's made of 3 parts, each of them really different from each other (the thickness, angle...)We took turns sleeping on the additional bed so it was kinda fun, but if you're not into that I don't recommend this option. Food was not very diversified, but each dish was delicious, really! Even if they served one same dish all our visit I would be happy to eat it, whatever it was! There is a small village Orebić close to the hotel. Amazing views, great atmosphere, you really should visit it at least once! Or go to Korčula, with a boat. It leaves every 30 minutes I guess. A splendid city! Actually most views there are breathtaking so take your phone or camera and go take a photo session!
