Found a beautiful ring for my girl, professional and kind staff , full recommendation, five stars!
At first, it seems they got it all, the jewellery is beautiful, hand-made with a long tradition. But unfortunately, we encountered a problem with my engagement ring, after only 10 days the stone fell off (it was glued to the ring), it was a miracle that we found it! There were a few zig-zags here and there between us and the jewellery, we went for repairs a few times. The first time they repaired the ring it was uneven, the stone filthy and they forgot to shrink it - just plain unprofessional. They tried to convince us that everything is ok, that it should be like that but still we returned it for more repairs. They repaired it again, this time much better, still with slight imperfections, which we were willing to overlook. The ring just needed further shrinking (repair no. 3). That time, we had the pleasure of meeting the jeweller. Such a hateful and rude person, made the whole already unpleasant experience so uncomfortable that we deiced to return the ring. Just don't want that negativity in something so precious. I'm usually not the one to write reviews like this, I believe that everybody is entitled to a mistake, but this is just too much. The rude name-calling by the jeweller and their insistence that we are seeing things, that everything is OK with the ring, even though it's obviously not, is not something to be overlooked. Trough the whole ordeal, we feel that they were trying to make a fool out of us, and we really don't want anybody else to go through this horrible experience with something so joyful as an engagement. The only credit I give them is that they weren't going to charge us for the repairs.
Discover the famous and traditional jewerly from Šibenik, Split, Dubrovnik, Konavle, Korčula, Mljet handcrafted from 14k and 18k gold. With selection of various traditional jewerly and standard jewerly they also provide wide selection of diamonds, pearls, and coral from island Zlarin.
The family tradition started in 1927 with two shops located on main strip in Split (Riva).
The worst choice for an engagement ring! Avoid this place!
An engagement ring bought in April 2019, after narrowing I noticed that the diamond was visibly moving inside the "hooks" (possibly it was like that before the narrowing but I didn't wear it that one day so I didn't notice). I return to the store and the seller (otherwise the son of the owner, so not an ordinary seller) after inspecting the ring assures me that this is how it should be (that the diamond must be slightly movable to avoid internal stress). This was confirmed by the owner of the jewelry store. I don't normally wear rings, especially not that type, so I say OK, I guess they know it's their job.
The stone falls out after 4 months of wearing! By itself, without any blow to it.
I come to the store, the owner was then, the man visibly remembers me and knows that the ring was bought from him. Anyway charge that new stone astronomically high! And after taking over, they charge even more than the agreed price. A later inquiry revealed that I would pay for a brilliant of the same specifications cheaper elsewhere, and I naively went to the original jewelry store expecting a very big discount.
And yet the gentleman has a cheek to attack me that I have to watch the ring and not be able to behave recklessly. I don’t know if you really expect me to spend the rest of my life in a ring spasm and act like my fingers are freshly painted so I don’t accidentally touch something. Shame.
The ring is good after the repair (and it does not wobble, as they initially assured me that it "should"), but only because they sent it to Zagreb for a stone installation for repair, and they did not repair it themselves.
All in all a horrible experience.
Kind and helpful. Large selection of jewelry of all kinds, especially traditional. A warm recommendation.
