Pičena Bay Restaurant, Vela Luka, RESERVATION ONLY

We went there in July and really enjoyed. The owner Mario and his father were very friendly. The drinks and the food were excellent. He served own delicious wine and grappa (as in our opinion many croatian guys do ;) ). Prices are high, but worth it. Important to know: that's no place for many people and you can only go there with having a reservation. The location is awesome!!! Hidden secret place with a great view. Incredible food, very nice and personal service with most ingredients coming from the island. There is no menu, instead you need to reserve a table a few days before and select either the fish or meat option. You will then get a beautiful meal using fresh ingredients available on the day.

Amazing place for a little getaway! Great gor spending the day there! The beach is small but very nice and the food in the restaurant is amazing. Will come back for sure!

Best food we’ve had in Croatia! Run and staffed by a family, the service is great. Make sure to book at least a day in advance so they have time to prepare your food. All off the grid too- they rely only on solar energy!
