Rijeka International Airport

Nice and small airport, is not in the city, to be more precise is in an island. I was amazed why Croats did not control temperature in the new people landing in Rijeka, also they did not ask the people to keep 1.5 meters apart while doing the queue for passport control. There are plenty of taxis at the airport, but you can use Uber is cheaper. The airport is very small is only one little coffee shop inside in arrivals, few rental car companies. The toilets were clean

Small country airport, staff nice, usual facilities like cafe and airside shop. Very few flights so no crowding

For being a 1960's airport, it’s pretty cool. The Security control is serious which is a big plus. There is even a Coffee Bar after you pass the security check with a balcony. The ground crew left a memory of being a bit rude.
