Kaštel Grožnjan - Koncertna Dvorana

On the info board in front of Kastel it is written: "The castle was first mentioned in 1102. The seat of the feudal lords and since 1359 became the residence of the Venetian captains and podestats. On the south side there are traces of remodeling. The present form is from the 19th century. there is a concert hall, the center of the musical life of the International Cultural Center of the Croatian Music Youth. " The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Croatian Music Youth Project took place in mid-2019. Thanks to this project, from June to October Grožnjan becomes a meeting place for young people and eminent experts in the field of music, dance, fine arts and drama from all over the world. I think that the castle should be professionally restored, because its appearance does not correspond to the beautiful and praiseworthy events that take place in it.
