Located right in the heart of centre behind the corner of Bar Batel where you could have a coffee or glass of wine while you are waiting. Just bring money without the change.

Very clean and modern and easy to use. Just know that the change machine doesn't give you 5 kuna coins, it gives you tokens. That wasn't clear from the instructions so I ended up changing a 100 kuna note for 20 tokens and not 20 5 kuna coins. So I ended up with a bunch of extra coins.

This facility is very clean and easy to use. All the instructions are posted in English, but here’s all you have to know. 1. Location It’s right in old town. Literally 1 minute walk from the market. Use GPS. You won’t miss it. 2. Money Both the washers and the dryers operate on 5 kuna coins. There’s a change machine inside that breaks 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 kuna bills. 3. Washers There are two different sizes of washers: 3 small (8kg capacity) washers and 2 large (14kg capacity) washers. The small washers cost 30 kuna (6 coins), and the large ones 50 kuna (10 coins). It’s easy to operate. Load the machine, pick a temperature, and hit start. Detergent and softener will be included and dispensed automatically. Available temperatures are 40, 30, 60, and 90 degrees. In case you are not familiar with Celsius: since 100 degree is the boiling point, 90 is really hot. 4. Dryers There are 4 large capacity driers. 5 kuna gives you 7 minutes. Four different temperature settings: hot, medium, low, and delicate. They are open from 8:00am until 10:00pm. I came here around 9:00am but all the small wagers were already in use. As I was finishing my laundry around 11:00am, it was even busier. So, I recommend you come here early in the morning.

Perfect self service laundry, modern speed queen appliances and onsite token purchase facility. Clean and bright premises, was worth the hunt to find, hopefully my map edit will make it easier for others.
