It's convenient but disappointing. You would think the city gave more thought on how Rijeka is first judged. It's small with little space to wait. Their is a luggage holding area (yippee) but it's almost a secret. Rijeka should demolish some of the buildings across the street by the waterfront and rebuild a nicer and bigger station next to the train station for easier transfers if needed. Maybe they could even share space - cafe, ticketing, and of course bag hold.

Easy to find. Bakery, shops and other stores near by. Says 'from-to' on the front of every bus. They always begin the trip on time. If possible, get to the bus station 15 min before.
