A delicious, beautiful and welcoming culinary adventure in the rolling hills of Istria. Excellent hosts and amazing breakfasts. Try to book onto a dinner or cooking class if you can. We loved learning to make pasta & the communal 3-course meal.

Absolutely stunning! Amazing food and the most perfect rooms you could imagine!

Beautiful location, interesting and well renovated stone building. Very clean but with a homely feel to it. Knowledgeable hosts who enjoy interacting with guests. Definitely sign up for a dinner or two as the food is not to be missed!

Anna and Matt have created a really wonderful retreat in the countryside and are wonderful hosts. We thourougly enjoyed our time at Bolara 60, the morning breakfasts, walks and local area. We loved the care and attention to detail in the restoration and one of the main reasons we traveled to Croatia was for Anna's cooking class which was fantastic and highly recommended. Thanks again :)
