NOVA car rental Zagreb

Great experience with Nova car rental ! Prices are attractive, the car I had was really clean. The paperwork was about 15min so it's really fast and appreciable. Very professionnal agency, I would use Nova again for sure! We asked for winter tires and they were there ! We were also able to give back the car earlier and didn't have to clean it. Only little detail: there was no windscreen whashing product.

Excellent service. Several locations throughout the country (we rented the car in Split and dropped it in Zadar). The staff was very flexible and kind. Iosip in Zadar was very helpful. We used this car rental service twice during our trip in Croatia and Iosip was very flexible regarding the pick up and drop off of the car. The cars are new and easy to drive. The payment is done at the drop off. We took the full insurance (the best choice in my opinion, for around 15 euros extra you are covered for any scratch or bigger damages. Luckily, we didn't need it, but you never know). Fully recommend this service.

This place is a scam. Would have put zero stars if I could. First, they are insanely expensive (almost $180 per day for a VW Passat) which I could have rented a luxury car for elsewhere. Bet they included all insurance that was to be waived, as my credit card covers that all (invoice not itemized for that). Second, I was supposed to return the car on Monday. I was told to park the car on a strip of parking spots in front of the hotel, or if no spots available leave it on a curb-side with hazards on. Parked the car in a parking spot. It was a paid parking area, but figured they have this taken care of for their cars if they tell customers to park there. They were not open yet, went to grab a breakfast and came to a parking ticket behind the windshield wiper. The car rental refused to take any responsibility for this. So at the the end, the customer not only pays very expensive rental, but by paying the parking ticket provides them with free parking for a day. What a great deal for a rental company!!!
