What I love about Bashota is their exquisite jewelry and one-on-one customer service. I've spent a lot of time in Zagreb and had the chance to look into many jewelry stores in the city. What sets Bashota apart is its traditional Zagreb symbols, like the red heart. This family-owned and -operated business hand crafts each piece with the finest details. What is truly special is that each piece is unique. I walked in expecting to choose a simple red heart and ended up trying to decide between several pieces because each one had a special, unique detail that set it apart from the others. The quality is exceptional, and I don't see any other stores in Zagreb that offer the variety and quality of these Zagreb symbols as jewelry. Second, the daughter Maja provides great customer service and attention. Even though it took me close to an hour to decide, she was helpful, insightful, and we had a lot of fun choosing just the right piece for me. My friends bought several bracelets, as well, because they make great gifts. This store is special and if you want a traditional and classic piece of Zagreb to wear, definitely visit Bashota.

This is not just a goldsmith's workshop, this is a place where real artists of their craft work! If anyone needs jewelry to fall in love with and make sure it’s not mass-produced - this is the place for you!

In my opinion the best jewelry store in town! The gentleman who works inside, I suppose the owner or one of the owners, is an old school, excellent, kind and honest person. And as for jewelry, absolute masters! Whenever I brought jewelry for repair, they repaired more and better than expected and agreed! And when they worked for me, they did a masterful job !!!! All the best and best regards! A warm recommendation to everyone!
