The Westin Zagreb

+All hotel staff been very nice and professional, the food quality is good and the city view is beautiful. - The room's electricity was a bit problematic as the plugs didn't work when the lights were switched off (!) and toilet fans didn't work at all. In general the hotel requires a bit of renovation although our room was on a renovated floor.

The staff was nice and attentive. But they didn't make sure that guests wore their face masks right, which is a pity regarding the high covid numbers in Zagreb. The room was big and clean, but there was no radiator in the bathroom and the a/c couldn't be turned off which is why it was a bit too cold. Also the bathroom door didn't close properly. The hotel is pretty old and run down. In the swimmingpool, water is dripping from the ceiling because it can't hold the rain anymore. There are more holes further along the way on the same floor. Breakfast was good and the waiters there were very attentive. But all in all, I wouldn't rate this as a 5* hotel, more like 3*. It definitely needs a lot of renovating and refreshing. Not worth the price at the moment (also true for the food from room service). But: the lobby and the trollies look very Gatsby-like, that was something!

Stayed at this hotel in 2018 and 2020 and no complaints. The facade of the building reminds me of a communist-era architecture. However, the lobby, rooms, and facilities are renovated. I recommend getting a suite if traveling with more than one person as it saved us time when getting ready because we had 2 bathrooms in the room. There is a hair salon at the hotel as well which was great as I forgot to bring my round brush and was able to purchase one there. The hotel is conveniently located in the lower town and walkable to all the sites...even those in the upper town(old city).

Nice Hotel for stay in Zagreb,near city centre and all important things.Easy to find.Great service at all.

This review is regarding only Allegro Terrace. The service was slow, designe of the terrace is terrible, tables and chairs are from cheap plastic without even a coussin. I ordered ice tea which they have homemade. It was okeish at best, I specifically asked if they have will berries but I got plain green tea with some lime in it which costs 56kn with two straws chirped on both sides one of them broke into peace in my mouth. The menu wasn't displayed anywhere and they didn't have any type of hand sanitizer.
